Scope of Project:
The project involved the construction of a new multi-wing high school for the Issaquah School District. The facility houses up to 1,850 students and include three new three-story classroom/science wings, an open commons area, gym and two auxiliary gyms, administrative & support area, library, food service area, auditorium, music area and woodshop area. The project was divided into two phases with the first phase consisting of the classroom wings, commons, and gymnasium. The second phase consisted of the auditorium, music area and woodshop. The first phase completed in the summer of 2010 with the second phase completed in summer of 2011.
SMI Commissioning & Consulting, LLC provided Commissioning Services for this project working directly for the Issaquah School District. SMI Commissioning performed design intent clarification meetings, commissioning meetings, installation verification inspections, witnessed equipment startup, wrote and performed functional performance testing, tracked system issues and assisted with the troubleshooting and resolution of mechanical and electrical issues for the systems described above.
